Founders Associate - Special Projects

As Founders Associate for Special Projects, you sit at the founders' side working directly with the CEO, COO, and CTO on problems that don't have an owner yet. You take ownership of hiring, partnerships, operations, product, and strategy work as the week demands.

What you'll do

• Work directly with the founders on problems they don't have time to run themselves — strategy, ops, product, hiring, whatever the week demands.
• Turn ambiguity into shipped work by taking problems, writing the plan, executing end-to-end, and delivering results without being chased for progress.
• Build the systems opus runs on — hiring pipelines, onboarding docs, reporting cadences, internal knowledge infrastructure.
• Turn research into decisions by digging into market, customers, competitors, potential hires and partners, then writing memos the founders can act on in ten minutes.
• Make the founders sharper through deck prep, KPI cleanup, and memo writing that reduces their cognitive load.

What you'll need

• High agency — you take a problem, write the plan, ship the outcome without waiting to be told what to do.
• Sharp writing and thinking to turn messy inputs into clear, short memos the founders can act on.
• Builder mindset — if something is missing, you build it, iterate, improve, and ship without over-polishing.
• Prior experience in high-pace environments such as a startup internship, MBB or IB stint, or a side project you scaled.
• AI-native by default — comfortable using Claude, Cursor, and other tools to work fastest.
• Available for 3 to 6 months, in person in Berlin, start ASAP.
