Applied AI Engineer

Design, build, and deploy AI-powered products that transform how finance teams work. You will work with frontier language models to create intelligent services, agents, and workflows that deliver real customer value.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications and services using state-of-the-art language models.
• Build intelligent agents and workflows that automate complex finance processes.
• Experiment with new AI capabilities and rapidly turn prototypes into production-ready features.
• Develop robust evaluation frameworks to measure quality, reliability, and business impact.
• Improve model performance through prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and other applied AI techniques.
• Build AI systems that are transparent, auditable, and allow users to review and intervene when needed.
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and finance experts to deliver customer-facing AI solutions.

What you'll need

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
• Proven experience working with modern LLMs and AI application development.
• Strong programming skills in both Python and Java.
• Experience building backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG systems, prompt engineering, or related applied AI techniques.

Nice to have

• Experience building customer-facing AI products.
• Experience in fintech, finance, or enterprise software.
• Experience with cloud-based AI platforms such as Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs.
