About the role
As a Senior Vehicle Security Engineer, you'll be part of a dedicated team that ensures MOIA's autonomous mobility platform is secure, resilient, and compliant with mobility industry standards. You'll work across the full product lifecycle of fully autonomous vehicles—from concept to deployment and operations—designing and implementing cybersecurity strategies that protect users, vehicles, and infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Define cybersecurity concepts and system boundaries for autonomous mobility features, considering real-world operating environments.
- Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA) in alignment with ISO/SAE 21434, identifying vulnerabilities and evaluating attack feasibility.
- Translate TARA outcomes into security requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to embed security into every stage of the product lifecycle—from design and development to incident response.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with cybersecurity standards across multiple projects.
- Partner with functional safety experts to align cybersecurity and safety requirements.
What you'll need
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with threat modeling and risk assessments for embedded or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with security best practices including secure communications, authentication protocols, and modern security technologies.
- Experience working with regulated environments and producing compliance-driven deliverables.
- Several years in a cybersecurity or related engineering role, ideally in automotive or mobility domains.
- Business-level fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and implementing security features in software or hardware systems.
- Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 and/or UNR 155 certification processes.
- Exposure to policy-driven security frameworks (e.g., RBAC/ABAC, OPA).
- Prior involvement in incident response, SLO/SLI definition, or on-call rotations.
What they offer

- Hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from home or offices
- 30 vacation days, sabbatical and unpaid leave option
- Learning environment with continuous learning days, trainings, workshops, and conferences
