Full Stack AI Engineer

Build the core of Unum, an Enterprise Superintelligence platform that deploys governed autonomous agents to safely integrate with enterprise data, execute complex workflows, and handle real-world operations in production. You'll work across every layer of the stack, from adoption-focused user experiences to core platform infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Build high impact applications and tools that accelerate Unum's solutions, applying AI models in novel ways to solve real world customer and internal workflow problems.
• Identify real needs and build technical solutions around them, working across the full lifecycle: prototype, iterate, ship, maintain and stay close to the problem you're solving.
• Translate AI capabilities into clean, trustworthy experiences with thoughtful design that considers how what you build is used by end users, colleagues, and other systems.
• Design how AI agents present their findings and ask for feedback.

What you'll need

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in software/product engineering with a proven track record of shipping end-to-end products.
• Proficiency in Python and building full stack applications.
• Experience building LLM powered workflows using common LLM APIs.
• Engineering mindset: you think about why something needs to exist, who it serves, and how it fits into the broader Unum vision.
• Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and Terraform.
• Background as a former founder or early engineer at a startup who built a product from scratch.
