Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

As a full-stack engineer on our product team you will own large topics end-to-end — from early design through production. You will handle large volumes of geospatial information efficiently in both browser and backend, solve graph problems in the database with carefully crafted queries, and build robust integrations with the growing number of third-party consumers of our services.

What you'll do

• Build and extend features end-to-end handling large volumes of geospatial data with great UX and design
• Construct well-designed and performant APIs and backend services for 3rd-party partners and customers
• Work in cross-functional teams on large topics from very early on. Understand the domain and own features from initial idea to continuous monitoring and incident response
• Refactor existing systems where needed and build greenfield applications where the problem demands it
• Own topics from early exploration through delivery with deep domain knowledge and make decisions yourself or in small circles

What you'll need

• Strong TypeScript and React (VueJS or Preact also fine)
• Backend experience with NestJS, Express, or Node.js
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software architecture practices
• Hands-on familiarity with agentic coding setups - you've used AI-assisted workflows in your actual day-to-day, not just experimented

Nice to have

• Experience with spec-driven or test-driven agentic development
• Web-based geospatial / GIS development
• A sense for design and UX — enough to handle smaller design decisions autonomously
