As a Senior Ingredient Sourcing Manager, you will build and own HOLY's end-to-end ingredient sourcing capability for our dry-powder portfolio. You will help transition procurement from a primarily contract-manufacturer-led model to a scalable, HOLY-owned sourcing model that improves cost efficiency, supply security, quality control, and operational flexibility.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute HOLY's ingredient sourcing strategy, including supplier mapping, qualification, selection, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Build a reliable supplier network with appropriate backup and dual-sourcing options for key ingredients.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key ingredient suppliers and position HOLY as a preferred customer for strategic partners.
- Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, service, innovation, and responsiveness through regular business reviews and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Continuously monitor ingredient markets, pricing trends, supplier landscapes, supply risks, and emerging technologies.
- Own recurring sourcing operations, including forecasts, quantities, MOQs, call-offs, replenishment, supplier capacity, lead times, and inventory risks.
- Coordinate specifications, samples, trial batches, sensory checks, stability testing, and supplier documentation with Quality, Product, and contract manufacturers.
- Lead sourcing projects end-to-end, aligning Supply Chain, Quality, Product/Formulation, Finance, Operations, contract manufacturers, and suppliers.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in ingredient sourcing, raw-material procurement, strategic procurement, or supply-chain management.
- Hands-on experience with ingredients for dry food, powdered beverage, dietary supplement, premix, or other dry-blend applications.
- Strong understanding of how ingredient specifications and source changes can affect powder blending, homogeneity, flowability, taste, appearance, stability, and production performance.
- Experience qualifying suppliers and ingredients using specifications, CoAs, certifications, traceability, audits, samples, and quality documentation.
- Strong negotiation skills across pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, capacity commitments, contracts, and service expectations.
- Excellent project-management skills and a track record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives to completion.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with cost models, volume forecasts, target prices, supplier comparisons, savings calculations, and market intelligence.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German at C1 level is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with functional ingredients, vitamins, amino acids, botanical extracts, flavor systems, complete premixes, or international supplier networks.

- Competitive salary and meaningful equity.
- Central office in Berlin Prenzlauerberg with flexible working hours.
- Flat hierarchies, fast pace, and personal development opportunities.
- Growing company with Series B funding.
