You will take ownership of the Polish market-entry phase for FICUS Health. Your initial mandate is to validate the market, establish FICUS with the most relevant stakeholders and secure the first lighthouse partnerships. You will report directly to the founding team and initially operate as a senior individual contributor, shaping key market-entry decisions and building your own local team over time.
What you'll do
- Validate market-entry assumptions and determine how FICUS should enter and scale in Poland, including analysing the market, competitive landscape, funding and reimbursement structures, procurement processes and provider decision-making across the Polish healthcare system.
- Build first relationships with rehabilitation centres, hospitals, healthcare groups, professional associations, payers and other relevant healthcare stakeholders.
- Lead the first commercial conversations yourself and take responsibility for developing, negotiating and closing initial pilot partnerships.
- Navigate Poland's regulatory, data-protection, procurement and reimbursement requirements at both national and regional level to ensure compliant, clinically relevant and commercially viable market entry.
- Bring deep understanding of Polish rehabilitation workflows and provider needs into product development and determine which parts of the product require local adaptation.
- Initially build the Polish market hands-on, then build the local team and take full operational and financial responsibility for Poland as the market is validated.
What you'll need
- At least ten years of relevant experience in the Polish healthcare or rehabilitation market, for example as a leader within a healthcare provider, rehabilitation centre or hospital group, in healthcare consulting, in market access or in a commercial leadership role at a digital-health company.
- A strong understanding of the Polish healthcare system, including provider decision-making, public funding, reimbursement structures and procurement processes.
- An established and relevant network, together with the credibility to open doors across rehabilitation centres, hospitals, healthcare groups, payers, professional associations or healthcare authorities in Poland.
- A track record of building rather than simply managing, such as establishing a new market, business unit, commercial operation or partnership structure.
- The ability to operate effectively in a highly ambiguous environment without a finished playbook and to create one yourself.
- Fluent Polish and professional English; German is an advantage.
What they offer
- Competitive base salary plus equity participation.
- Direct collaboration with and reporting to the founding team.
- Genuine ownership of the Polish market-entry phase from day one with a clear path towards full operational and P&L responsibility.
- Regular company and team events.
