About the role
You'll work directly alongside our CEO to build Delvo's enterprise sales motion from scratch, while taking on the strategic and operational work that makes a founding team move faster. In the first six months, roughly half your time will be spent on sales: building outbound pipeline, developing the sales playbook, preparing enterprise-grade proposals, and getting into rooms with procurement leaders at industrial manufacturers.
What you'll do
- Build the sales machine: research target accounts, craft outreach sequences, run LinkedIn and email campaigns, and book meetings for our CEO. Design the playbook that makes it repeatable.
- Join customer conversations and hold your own with procurement directors and C-suite stakeholders at major industrial companies. Prepare proposals, competitive analyses, and follow-up materials.
- Support the full sales cycle: from first meeting to pilot setup to commercial negotiation. Track deal progress and prepare steering committee materials.
- Lead strategic projects end-to-end: market entry analysis for new verticals, pricing strategy, competitive intelligence, partnership development, investor reporting.
- Build internal systems: CRM workflows, reporting dashboards, vendor management, event logistics.
What you'll need
- 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, venture capital, high-growth startups, or investment banking — or an equally compelling non-traditional path.
- Ability to write a cold email that gets a response from a CPO, and then prepare the proposal deck for the meeting that follows.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems fast and come back with a recommendation in days, not weeks.
- Senior-level communication in both German and English — sharp outreach to DACH procurement leaders and polished English for international investors.
- Bias toward fast execution and iteration — you ship things, learn what works, and improve.
- Entrepreneurial energy: you've built something from zero before, even if it was small.
Nice to have
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS.
- Technical literacy sufficient to talk to engineers and understand product decisions without needing a translator.
