Event Technican

You will provide technical support for live, hybrid and online events, from preparation to completion. You will be responsible for setting up and configuring audio, video and streaming technology, and configuring virtual event platforms while providing on-site support to participants.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support for live, hybrid and online events, from preparation to completion
• Set up and configure audio, video and streaming technology
• Configure virtual event platforms (e.g. Zoom and MS Teams) and provide on-site support to participants
• Coordinate presentation setups and manage various sources (split screen, presenter view), ensuring clear display on projectors and screens
• Set up stable connections and smooth signal paths (audio, video and network)
• Carry out technical checks and test runs and react confidently to any faults during live operation
• Work closely with technical and non-technical teams and contribute your knowledge to project coordination
• Maintain equipment regularly and keep software and hardware up to date

What you'll need

• Practical experience working with professional event and media technology
• Good basic knowledge of cameras (e.g. Blackmagic), image mixers (e.g. ATEM Mini Extreme) and live streaming technologies (e.g. RTMP)
• Familiarity with audio technology, including microphone setups, signal routing and analogue/digital mixing consoles
• Familiarity with common connection technologies (HDMI, XLR, PoE and Ethernet)
• Structured, solution-oriented work style and ability to remain calm in live situations
• Strong team player and communicator with high degree of personal responsibility
• Fluent knowledge of either German or English (C1 or C2)
