VP Associate

VP's Associate role working as right-hand to the VP Operations at a property management company. High-impact position at the intersection of strategy and execution, supporting key initiatives across finance, growth, and operations while acting as a strategic partner.

What you'll do

• Analyze financial data of portfolio companies including revenue per unit, margin structures, and cost drivers
• Support due diligence processes for new acquisitions and build business cases for strategic initiatives
• Identify and execute revenue growth levers across portfolio companies
• Evaluate adjacent business opportunities such as insurance and brokerage
• Drive integration of portfolio companies into Buena's software platform
• Work with team leads on-site to professionalize processes and improve margins
• Support recruiting efforts at portfolio companies
• Own operational projects end-to-end including regulatory compliance initiatives
• Act as strategic sparring partner to VP Operations and prepare materials for leadership discussions

What you'll need

• Fluent German (C2 level) for German-language operating environment
• Based in Berlin with willingness to travel regularly across Germany
• Professional experience in consulting, operations, finance, or startup environment
• Strong analytical skills with comfort in P&Ls, margin analysis, and financial modeling
• High sense of ownership and bias toward action
• Comfort with high-intensity work environment

Nice to have

• Experience in property management or real estate
• Background in post-merger integration or operational transformation
• Familiarity with software rollouts or change management
