City Lead

The City Lead is the general manager of Berlin, with complete ownership of everything in the city: members, coaches, team, and the city's commercial success. You run Berlin end to end and treat it as if it were your own company.

What you'll do

• Build a thriving coach community: attract, develop and retain the best coaches in the market, working through your Fitness Managers.
• Lead your team (Studio Managers, Fitness Managers and Front of House), hire for hospitality and mindset first, and develop people into leaders who own their studios.
• Own the member experience: set hospitality standards, build community, and create studios people rave about.
• Drive Berlin's growth and profitability, knowing your city inside out and acting on what's changing.
• Set focus and priorities, letting your team execute; go deep on topics only when announced and time-boxed.
• Bring marketing, product, tech and finance to bear for your city with clear asks, and share what works with other cities.

What you'll need

• 6+ years leading multi-site, people-heavy operations in hospitality, fitness, retail or similar, including commercial ownership.
• Led people, built teams and owned outcomes, not just run a function.
• People-first leader with high standards: warm with your team and coaches, direct in feedback, uncompromising on hospitality.
• Comfortable with numbers: understand your city's performance and turn insight into action.
• Know Berlin: the neighbourhoods, communities, ideally the fitness and coaching scene.
• Fluent in German and English.
• You work out and know what a great coach and great class feel like.
