About the role
As Team Lead Media for consumer brands wirkaufendeinauto.de and its sister brands across Europe and Autohero, you will join the international Marketing team of AUTO1 Group. Take full ownership of budget allocation and outcomes for all Traditional and Digital Media Marketing activities across two flagship brands and four key European markets.
What you'll do
- Inspire and lead an international team of 5–6 dedicated professionals, spanning Junior to Senior levels, by delivering actionable feedback and fostering an environment of continuous growth and development.
- Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact, performance-driven brand marketing campaigns across TV, YouTube, Radio, and a variety of offline channels.
- Leverage your robust network within the media industry to uncover, secure, and activate the most effective offline marketing opportunities, accelerating customer acquisition and amplifying brand awareness.
- Elevate brand media strategy by integrating data-driven insights, maximizing traffic generation, and advancing key brand KPIs through innovative and measurable approaches.
- Champion data-centric decision making by seamlessly connecting media performance metrics with core business data using state-of-the-art analytics tools and methodologies.
- Play a pivotal role in developing and implementing more sophisticated approaches to measurement and attribution, enabling deeper insights into the effectiveness of media investments.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of progressive experience designing, managing, and optimizing complex online and offline marketing campaigns, consistently delivering measurable growth in fast-paced environments.
- Proven leadership capabilities—including direct management and mentorship of diverse, high-performing marketing teams.
- In-depth expertise in the French or German media markets, with fluency in French or German a significant advantage.
- Advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with expert-level proficiency in Excel, and hands-on experience using SQL, BigQuery, or similar tools.
- Mastery of advanced measurement and attribution methodologies (e.g., media mix modeling, causal uplift modeling, geo-split analysis, incrementality testing, experimentation).
- Demonstrated success in media planning for streaming and digital video platforms (such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, and YouTube).
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities in English, with proficiency in French or German a strong plus.
Nice to have
- Skilled in programmatic media buying with a deep understanding of data-driven audience targeting and bidding strategies.
- Hands-on experience with DV360 and/or Amazon Video Advertising platforms.
