About the role
As Yepoda's first Brand Copy Lead, you'll own the words that bring Yepoda to life across every touchpoint — from campaign headlines to packaging claims to performance ads. You'll work directly with the Head of Creative to define what copy means at Yepoda, evolve our tone of voice, and ensure it flexes intelligently across our growing brand ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Own and define Yepoda's tone of voice: articulate, document, and evolve a clear, distinctive TOV that reflects the Yepoda brand, bringing to the forefront our K-Beauty roots, our clean credentials, and our personality
- Build and maintain a TOV guide that acts as a practical, living resource for the Creative team and cross-functional partners
- Champion copy quality and brand distinction across every output, from major campaign to micro-copy
- Write and oversee copy for campaigns, brand activations, product launches, and editorial content
- Own copy for packaging and retail environments, navigating compliance and regulatory requirements with confidence and creativity
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing and CRM teams to deliver high-volume copy that converts — using AI tools and prompt engineering to scale without losing brand integrity
- Establish clear workflows, briefing standards, and review processes for copy across the business
- Brief and manage freelance copywriters when needed, ensuring consistent output against TOV
What you'll need
- 8+ years of copywriting and brand voice experience, with a strong track record in beauty, skincare, and/or retail brands
- Fluent in English
- A portfolio that demonstrates range — from brand-building campaigns to high-converting performance copy
- Deep fluency in D2C brand building and understanding how copy drives acquisition, retention, and loyalty at every stage
- Proven experience with compliant copy in regulated categories (cosmetics, beauty claims)
- AI-forward working style: you're already using AI tools and prompt engineering to scale and ideate
- A strategic mind paired with executional excellence — you can set the vision and write the copy yourself
- A genuine love of beauty and skincare
Nice to have
- Experience working with Sephora or other major retail partners on in-store and digital copy
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and lifecycle copy strategy
- Experience building a copy function or TOV framework from scratch
- Multilingual skills — French, Italian or other European languages
