Product Manager SaaS - VC-funded Solar Startup

About the role

As a central part of our small, high-performing and growing product team, you will work closely with Martin, our experienced Head of Engineering, to systematically develop our platform while ensuring it remains robust and scalable under real-world conditions.

What you'll do

• Feel responsible for all aspects of our product, serve as point of contact for questions and input from all sides
• Proactively gather product requirements, understand what users want and what they truly need, maintain close contact with Sales, Operations and Engineering, and track market developments and regulations
• Manage the roadmap together with Cedric (COO) and Martin
• Plan sprints, write tickets and define test cases to ensure clean implementation
• Take the leading role in conceiving new product features
• Develop simple prototypes and UX/UI specs yourself, and coordinate external designers for larger redesigns
• Conduct thorough independent research on technical, legal and regulatory questions
• Own qualitative and quantitative evaluation of product performance and derive appropriate measures

What you'll need

• Professional experience in product management of complex B2B applications – ideally in areas such as SaaS, energy, billing, real estate or data platforms
• Experience making product decisions based on different stakeholder inputs – from Sales, Operations, Engineering to external partners – while setting clear strategic priorities
• Use data and metrics to validate hypotheses, justify priorities and make product decisions measurable
• Experience writing feature specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, working with agile development processes
• Enjoy quickly diving deep into new topics without hesitation on technical or regulatory questions
• Work efficiently with AI and automation
• Enthusiastic about startups and willing to take real responsibility in a dynamic, founder-driven team
• Fluent in German and English, able to grasp and explain complex technical matters in both languages
