About the role

This is a 6 month opportunity based in Berlin (hybrid). You'll get hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting offer processes — directly contributing to Upvest's ambitious growth targets.

What you'll do

  • Support our hiring engine across the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting offer processes
  • Build and own recruitment automations by designing, testing, and iterating on AI-powered workflows that reduce manual work across the TA team
  • Research, evaluate, and put to work the latest AI sourcing and candidate engagement tools to help find niche talent faster and more creatively
  • Document and scale what works so the whole team can use it, building a playbook rather than fixing one-off problems

What you'll need

  • Genuine curiosity about AI and automation — you should experiment with new tools and get excited about making processes smarter
  • Some exposure to recruitment or HR, whether through internship, university projects, or personal interest
  • Comfort working with data — you can build a basic dashboard and spot what the numbers are telling you
  • Strong written communication — you write clearly, adapt your tone, and make outreach feel personal at scale
  • A builder's mindset — you'd rather automate a repetitive task than do it manually, and you're not afraid to test and iterate
  • Familiarity with an ATS (Ashby experience is a plus) and interest in how recruitment tooling works
  • Proactiveness and ownership — you'll bring ideas, flag problems, and drive your own workstreams with support
