About the role
As the Office & Workplace Manager, you'll be the operational backbone and welcoming face of the Berlin office. You'll make sure everything runs smoothly day to day and shape a space people are genuinely happy to walk into every morning.
What you'll do
- Keep the office running smoothly: supplies, snacks and drinks, team lunches, deliveries and mail, and the upkeep that keeps the office looking and feeling great.
- Build systems as we scale: ordering schedules, vendor management, an office hub in Notion, and clear, documented processes that people can rely on.
- Make the office an experience by spotting what would make someone's day better and making it happen - from small everyday touches to moments that build real community.
- Raise the bar over time by spotting what could be smoother, sharper, or more efficient, and putting those improvements into practice.
- Manage facilities and partners as the main point of contact for building management, cleaning team, suppliers, and external partners.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of experience in office or workplace management, hospitality, or operations - ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment.
- Proactive by default: you spot what needs doing before anyone asks, come with solutions, and take full ownership.
- Structured and detail-oriented: you build systems, keep things organised and documented, and look for ways to make them better.
- Genuine people person: you're warm, approachable, and get energy from creating a great experience.
- Fluent in German and English, with clear and confident communication skills.
- Comfortable with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Slack.
What they offer
- Competitive salary, meal vouchers, tax-free extras, and Urban Sports Club membership.
- Flexible hours and 30 days of annual leave.
- Learning & development days, annual L&D budget, and coaching sessions via Sparrks.
