About the role
You will join the Client Technology Tribe and become part of our Marketing Growth team, working at the intersection of product, engineering, and client acquisition. You will help turn ambitious campaign ideas into scalable digital experiences, working on customer-facing journeys, content and conversion flows, internal growth tooling, and the integrations needed to launch, measure, and continuously improve initiatives with real business impact.
What you'll do
- Build and improve high-quality web experiences that support acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Develop features and internal tooling that enable Marketing teams to launch campaigns faster and more effectively.
- Work across the stack on frontend applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver measurable growth outcomes.
- Contribute to experimentation, analytics, SEO, performance, and observability capabilities across growth-related surfaces.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code while treating security and reliability as first-class concerns.
- Take ownership from idea to production, helping the team ship quickly without compromising engineering quality.
- Raise the engineering bar within the team through strong technical judgment, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
- Strong hands-on frontend experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js, building polished, production-grade customer-facing applications.
- Solid experience with modern frontend engineering practices, including testing, component-driven development, performance optimisation, and maintainable UI architecture.
- Practical experience with tools and frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Webpack, design systems.
- Backend experience building and integrating production services with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication and authorisation patterns including JWT, and service-to-service integrations.
- Good working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and observability/debugging in production.
- Experience delivering complex software with end-to-end ownership, ideally across microservices and customer-facing platforms.
