Frontend Engineer - Banking Platform

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be a key member of one of our product teams responsible for designing and building powerful, intuitive UIs that support critical processes, from transaction monitoring to corporate action workflows and operational dashboards. Our frontend stack is built on React and TypeScript, with strong foundations in component reuse, design systems, and testable architecture.

What you'll do

• Work with cutting-edge technologies and participate in modern software development practices (e.g., agile and self-managed teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure, and tooling)
• Engage with our cloud-native, DevOps-enabled infrastructure, utilizing AWS services like ECS, Fargate, Lambda among others
• Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code and treat security as a first-class citizen
• Bring products to production and reveal real business value
• Improve engineering excellence in the team
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand complex workflows and translate them into well-structured, maintainable user interfaces

What you'll need

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Previous work experience in frontend development, in technologies like Typescript, React, NextJs, Cypress, WebPack, Material Design, Express, HTML5, CSS3
• A strong passion for outstanding UI/UX, web performance, and accessibility
• Ability to think outside the box and to work independently
• Analytical proficiency, both in the technical and in the product domain
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - engineering, product, or other stakeholders
• Practical experience in AWS or another cloud provider
• Professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Experience using coding agents (e.g., Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools)
