Quant Developer - Wealth Management

About the role

You will be responsible for developing and fully automating a systematic wealth manager (robo advisor) overseeing several billion euros in AuM utilizing multi-asset investment strategies. You will productionize algorithmic models that autonomously react to client requests and market movements utilizing cost-effective burst computations with the capacity to handle millions of trades in minutes. You will also develop the taxation logic that supports pan-European growth.

What you'll do

• Develop hands-on in Python alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers and quant developers, driving transformative changes in the financial industry
• Architect and deploy interfaces connecting the Scalable Capital Robo with key internal services to establish seamless connectivity with the external world
• Fully automate trading algorithms driven by pure quantitative evidence that autonomously manage billions in assets
• Support and interact with various stakeholders like the tax core team, investment managers, traders, a dedicated Robo backend team and wealth managers
• Work on cutting edge technology and be part of modern software development practices (agile and self-sufficient teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud-based infrastructure and tooling)

What you'll need

• Excellent university degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or a similar field
• Knowledge in econometrics with an emphasis on portfolio optimization and risk modelling
• A solid working knowledge of the basics of capital taxation
• Experience with convex optimization, exposure to libraries like cvxpy, scipy or cvxopt
• Passion for Python
• Interest in our tech stack: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, serverless architecture, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), relational databases / SQL
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
