About the role

We are seeking a motivated (Associate) Product Manager to drive the development and enhancement of tax-related client experiences and internal tooling. You will shape intuitive and compliant tax-related user experiences for both German and international clients, ensuring clarity across jurisdictions, while enabling multiple tax calculation engines by building the foundation of client tax data, intuitive user interfaces, and efficient internal workflows.

What you'll do

  • Support and take ownership of product development from discovery to launch, focusing on client tax master data, client-facing tax features, and internal enablement solutions.
  • Contribute to defining and executing a product strategy with a strong focus on user experience, data quality, and process efficiency, aligning with Scalable's long-term goals.
  • Design and improve intuitive, self-service tax experiences for clients, including tax overviews, submissions, and interactions with tax-related data.
  • Own and evolve how client tax-relevant data is collected, maintained, and structured as a foundation for downstream systems and reporting.
  • Build and improve tools and workflows that empower internal teams to efficiently manage tax-related requests and operations.

What you'll need

  • Interest in taxation topics, particularly related to client data, reporting, and regulatory processes in German and international contexts.
  • Initial experience in product management or a related role (e.g., business analysis, operations, consulting, or project management), ideally within fintech, banking, or similarly complex environments.
  • A natural curiosity that drives you to explore complex topics with multiple interdependencies and stakeholders.
  • A strong affinity for user experience (UX) and building intuitive, customer-facing products.
  • Strong analytical thinking, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience.
  • Hands-on mentality: from ideation and research to prototype and user story, you can handle it.
  • Excellent English communication skills (German is advantageous).

Nice to have

  • Experience with common agile working tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma and similar applications.

What they offer

  • Be part of one of the fastest-growing Fintech startups in Europe with substantial impact on customer lives.
  • Latest hardware and tools, plus individual Education Budget for learning and development.
  • International relocation support and opportunity to work from abroad.
  • Attractive compensation package and company pension scheme.
  • Monthly contribution of 50% for Deutschland Jobticket and complimentary PRIME+ Broker subscription.
  • Flexible and discounted sports activities with Urban Sports Club.
