About the role
This internship offers a unique opportunity to make an impact at a leading European fintech while gaining hands-on experience in product development. You'll collaborate with experienced mentors, learn industry-standard tools and methodologies, and contribute to products that create financial peace of mind for users across Europe or the US.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Business and Operations teams to coordinate initiatives.
- Support feature development and help deliver seamless product experiences end to end.
- Write clear product documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Refine product backlogs and assist in sprint planning.
- Analyze user behavior, market trends, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Review product performance using data and customer feedback.
- Contribute to user research and help translate findings into actionable product enhancements.
- Learn product development practices within a regulated financial environment.
What you'll need
- An MBA, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Design or a related field.
- Prior experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, Business/Product Operations, Analytics, Design, ideally within Fintech or Banking.
- Self-starter attitude, proactive and eager to take ownership.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to turn complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset, with proficiency in SQL, Looker or similar tools.
- Understanding of REST APIs, system architecture basics and modern data flows.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma or Miro.
- A passion for fintech, personal finance, savings and investment products.
- Fluency in German.
