Senior Software Engineer - Cash Flow (Java, Spring, AWS)

About the role

Senior Software Engineers at PPRO make significant decisions for the company as important contributors to team success, with impact on product, culture, and spirit. You will solve complex technical problems, participate in architecture and technical direction decisions, support and mentor other engineers, and work alongside them in the code.

What you'll do

• Own products and services end-to-end, from requirements till deployment in production systems
• Collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment while working in small, agile teams
• Be an integral part of a team, in addition to its culture and ways of working. Common practices include agile methodologies, pair and mob programming
• Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for customers at a massive scale

What you'll need

• Results-orientation, collaborative, pragmatic, and with a continuous improvement mindset
• Multiple experiences working with one or more general-purpose programming languages including Java
• Experience designing and building scalable products and services
• Experience with the cloud (preferably AWS)
• Great problem solving abilities
• Working proficiency in English
• Accounting/Fintech Domain: Experience with or a strong interest in the complexities of accounting systems or ledgers is a distinct advantage
