About the role
Lead and own the full sales cycle for Pliant's FX product — from prospecting and demos to negotiation and deal closure. This includes conducting market research and building the pipeline when ready.
What you'll do
- Drive new client acquisition globally and build a high-quality sales pipeline across key markets.
- Achieve and exceed revenue and KPI targets through strategic sales execution and market penetration.
- Act as a pioneer and market scout for Pliant's FX offering - test the product-market-fit, gather customer insights, and feed learnings back to product and leadership.
- Define and refine value propositions based on customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, finance leaders, and strategic partners in global markets.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to align go-to-market strategies.
- Represent Pliant at global events, webinars, and strategic industry forums to elevate brand presence.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in selling FX products, ideally FX and international payments, Fintech SaaS, or cross-border solutions.
- Strong track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth in a global context.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (mandatory); additional European languages are a plus.
- Comfortable in a startup/scale-up environment - self-starter, willing to experiment, learn fast, and adapt.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for building and scaling new products.
- Highly motivated, resilient, and proactive with strong commercial instincts.
Nice to have
- Experience in FX pricing, risk management or corporate treasury relationships.
- Experience with CRM tools and data-driven sales methodologies.
