About the role
You support Pliant as Business Development Manager - Eastern European Markets and build up our customer base in those growing markets. You collaborate with potential customers and advise them that Pliant's digital credit card solution is the payment method of the future. This is a 1 year contract with possibility to extend, based in Berlin via hybrid.
What you'll do
- Source business and corporate clients in target verticals and find exciting customer segments that can benefit from Pliant's credit card solution
- Work creatively to select different channels and strategies for customer outreach
- Take ownership and communicate skillfully to contact potential customers and build a strong customer pipeline
- Know your contact's needs and problems, ask the right questions and listen to them in order to pick up your customers where they are at the moment
- Put yourself in your customers' shoes and identify how Pliant can deliver the most value to them
- Spearhead expansion across Eastern European markets and work to define local strategy as well as shape the product for local specifics
What you'll need

- Communicative and know how to relate to your contact persons
- Always asking yourself how you can improve in individual situations, happy to receive and give feedback and eager to develop yourself further
- Energy, ability to work independently and strongly motivated by clear goals
- Interest in FinTech and the digitalisation of the financial industry
- Excellent English language skills both written and spoken, plus one other Eastern European language preferably Polish
Nice to have
- Experience of sales within eCommerce, SaaS, Marketing and reselling industries
- Experience selling into the Travel or Tourism sector especially in the Eastern European market
