About the role
We're looking for a Solution Engineer to join our Commercial org at Pleo. In this role, you'll help articulate the value of our solution and be part of the pre-sales team as we scale Solutions at Pleo.
What you'll do
- Conduct generic or tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops.
- Develop and deliver technical proposals, RFPs, responses, trials, and Proof of concepts.
- Understand customer objectives, technical environment, and accounting needs.
- Provide feedback and insights to product and engineering teams.
- Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation or onboarding.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of experience in a solutions or pre-sales role.
- In-depth understanding of B2B SaaS products, APIs and relevant technologies, including configuration, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with accounting principles & financial workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet during customer interactions or changing requirements.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and risk management abilities to handle multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously.
- A background in demonstrated success in customer-facing roles and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
