About the role

Peec AI is looking for a People Operations Manager to own and scale how we hire, onboard, and take care of our team across every country we operate in. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has built People foundations before and wants to do it again, this time across multiple entities and markets.

What you'll do

  • Own People Operations globally, across all our entities (Germany, the US, and new markets as we expand)
  • Run the full employee lifecycle end to end: contracts, onboarding, changes, and offboarding
  • Manage multi-country payroll with our external partners, and keep people data accurate and compliant with GDPR and local law
  • Design and run performance and feedback cycles that align with company goals and leadership priorities
  • Own the Workplace function and lead a small team, shaping where and how the team works
  • Own the People and Workplace budget, and partner closely with Finance on planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Implement a new HRIS in the US, and build the processes, templates, and self-service docs that let us scale cleanly
  • Stay ahead of employment law in every market we operate in, and know when to bring in external legal or tax support

What you'll need

  • 3 to 5 years in People Operations or HR, with real ownership of topics across more than one country or entity
  • Experience in a high growth startup environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of international labor law, especially Germany and the US
  • A proven track record managing the full employee lifecycle end to end
  • Experience designing performance and feedback cycles that align with company goals and leadership priorities
  • Experience running payroll across multiple countries
  • Experience implementing an HRIS, ideally in an international, multi-entity environment
  • Fluent in German and English

Nice to have

  • Experience setting up a new country entity or expanding into a new market (especially the US)
  • A clear point of view on modern People tooling and what good looks like
