Working Student Billing & Collections Specialist

About the role

As a Working Student in Billing & Collections, you will support our Senior Accounts Receivable Manager in day-to-day operations and play an active role in managing receivables and improving cash flow as Parloa continues to grow at high speed.

What you'll do

• Assist with billing processes and invoice management
• Support accounts receivable and payment tracking
• Actively follow up with customers on outstanding invoices (email & phone)
• Contribute to collection efforts to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payments
• Collaborate with internal teams on billing and payment topics
• Help identify and implement process improvements as we scale

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn how accounting works in a fast-growing tech company
• Strong communication skills and confidence in reaching out to customers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Work carefully, reliably, and enjoy working with numbers and systems
• Fluency in German and English is required
