Internship
As Founders Associate Intern (GTM), you sit close to the commercial engine, working side by side with the COO, Founding GTM, and BDRs. You take on the work that makes the whole motion sharper—from researching target accounts to drafting outreach sequences to joining customer calls and capturing what you learn.
What you'll do
- Sharpen the target list by researching accounts, finding the right personas inside them, and identifying ones we've missed.
- Sharpen how we reach out—iterate on outreach sequences, subject lines, and LinkedIn openers, cutting what doesn't land.
- Turn calls into intelligence by sitting in on customer conversations, capturing objections and reactions, and turning them into actionable notes.
- Keep the pipeline honest—CRM current, follow-ups on time, meeting prep tight.
- Take on what needs owning—identify gaps and pick them up without waiting to be told.
- Learn the craft from the inside: how enterprise deals actually move, how founders sell, how a market gets defined.
What you'll need
- Sharp thinker, sharp writer—you can turn a messy customer call into three clear takeaways or a broad question into a structured research plan.
- You don't wait to be told; you own problems and ship the memo, the deck, the follow-up on time.
- AI-native by default—you use AI tools daily (Cursor, Claude, Notion AI, etc.) and automate what can be automated.
- Curious about GTM and industrial companies; you want to understand how deals get built and how European industry runs.
- Seller at heart—you like people and can hold energy through the tenth call of the day.
- Fluent, native-level German and professional English; cold outreach to industrial customers happens in German.
- Available for 3 to 6 months, in person in Berlin, start ASAP.
Nice to have
- Prior GTM exposure—interned in sales, worked at a startup, or seen a commercial motion up close.
What they offer
- Competitive compensation with real ownership in opus' long-term success.
- High ownership, fast customer feedback, responsibility for outcomes.
- AI-first, builder environment with best tools and strong bias to ship and learn.
- Berlin-Mitte office with ambitious team and low ego.
- 28 vacation days and flexibility to recharge.
