Strategy & Operations Associate - Lending

About the role

Business Team Associate joining the Strategy and Operations team to work on Banking Retail Lending projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Product initiatives through project management, external partner management and ensuring maximum performance of different Lending products using data analysis and KPI tracking.

What you'll do

• Lead high-impact Lending initiatives end-to-end, from strategic design through to execution and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the definition and execution of strategic priorities for both the team and the overall Lending segment.
• Build data-driven business cases to evaluate the impact and feasibility of strategic initiatives and new products including SQL deep dives and budget building.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of N26 Lending products, utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis for continuous optimization.
• Monitor product and project performance using data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Act as the central point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, including Product & Tech, Legal & Compliance, Customer Operations, Banking Operations, Marketing, and external partners.

What you'll need

• 4+ years prior experience in financial services - fintech/banking, investment banking, or startups. Direct experience in the Credit field is a big plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (Finance, Economics, Math, etc.) from a top-tier university.
• Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional projects end-to-end and managing senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills - you must be able to independently source data and derive insights.
• Ability to build complex business cases and conduct deep-dive research into market and competitor trends.
• Outstanding storytelling and visualization skills, with high proficiency in Google Presentation.
