About the role
Senior Site Reliability Engineer joining the Software Logistics Team (CI/CD) within Platform Engineering. Platform Engineering provides easy-to-use, self-service platforms that enable other segments to build, deploy, and monitor their business applications with minimal friction.
What you'll do
- Maintain, implement, and optimise the systems and applications that power CI/CD at N26
- Shape and influence N26's CI/CD strategy, empowering development teams to deliver features faster
- Improve the security and compliance posture of our systems
- Implement security and compliance checks as a service within our CI/CD pipeline offering
- Standardise our pipelines and raise the level of autonomy for our users
- Mentor other engineers and help improve our ways of working and engineering practices
- Take an active part in roadmap definition and prioritisation for our group
- Stay on top of incidents and production deployment issues, ensuring stable and predictable delivery
What you'll need
- Experience with at least one high-level programming language and its ecosystem (Python, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin)
- Good understanding of Linux, particularly networking, containerisation, and security
- Experience with cloud service providers, ideally AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience planning, building, and supporting scalable CI/CD pipelines using trunk-based development or GitHub Flow
Nice to have
- Experience working in strict security- and compliance-oriented environments
- Good understanding of integrated CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Salt
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes administration
