Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

Join our Legal team in Berlin or Amsterdam as a Junior Legal Counsel on a one-year contract. You'll be given real responsibility from day one and have the opportunity to learn first-hand how a modern legal team operates and scales.

What you'll do

• Review, draft, and manage foundational commercial agreements, including NDA's, vendor contracts, and terms of service.
• Own and optimize our legal tech stack (e-signing tools, contract management software, and internal wikis) to streamline workflows for our product, sales, and engineering teams.
• Act as the first point of contact for routine legal queries from internal stakeholders, translating complex legal jargon into actionable business advice.
• Proactively pick up additional legal tasks with mainly a commercial focus as needed; supporting to unblock for future growth and driving new initiatives.

What you'll need

• A recent university graduate with a degree in Law (First State Exam, Bachelor of Law, or a Master of Law) with a strong interest in business and technology.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• A genuine passion for the intersection of finance and tech and eagerness to learn how we navigate complex regulatory environments.
• A highly organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment; a proactive problem-solver who isn't afraid to ask questions.
• Full-time presence in our Amsterdam or Berlin office with a hybrid working model of three days in office each week.

• Business level fluency in German.
