About the role
As a (Senior) Product Manager, you'll be part of the Payment team, responsible for shaping how money flows through MOIA's mobility ecosystem - evolving from a pure ridepooling operator to a technology and Autonomous Mobility (AD) focused Mobility-as-a-Service software provider. You will continue to evolve our payment platform within a B2B / B2B2G context, scaling existing capabilities and adapting them to diverse partner and market requirements.
What you'll do
- Build a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of multi-tenant payment systems, enabling cities, partners, and operators to run mobility services for their users.
- Own MOIA's payment domain end-to-end, defining and executing a roadmap that turns company strategy into a scalable and competitive payment product for the future of an AD mobility provider.
- Understand and translate the needs of B2B and B2G clients into robust payment solutions by actively engaging with partners - facilitating workshops, aligning on requirements, and guiding them through integrations.
- Make trade-offs between standardisation and partner-specific needs in a multi-tenant environment.
- Prepare and prioritize features as epics and stories for refinement with your team while respecting architectural and technical constraints.
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead and Agile Coach to ensure product quality, delivery reliability, and a healthy team dynamic.
- Own and manage relationships with external payment providers (e.g. Adyen), balancing partner capabilities, costs, risk, and scalability.
- Leverage AI in day-to-day product work to improve processes, decision-making, and product capabilities.
What you'll need
- Payment Domain knowledge: You have worked within the payment domain and have a track record of building payment solutions at scale - B2B2C payment setup or payment integrations with (public) clients is a big plus.
- Solid experience in Product Management and ability to balance business, stakeholder, and user needs effectively.
- Ability to think big, craft compelling visions, and understand what makes products commercially viable.
- Pragmatic approach: you get things done, make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively.
- Active use of modern AI methods in day-to-day work - from discovery and analysis to decision-making and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust messaging to different stakeholders.
- Fluent communication in English; German is a plus.
What they offer
- Competitive salary (including bonus)
- Hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from home or offices
- Flexible working hours and work arrangements
- Fully subsidized public transport ticket (Deutschlandticket)
- Learning environment with continuous learning days, trainings, coaching, and conferences
- 30 vacation days, sabbatical and unpaid leave option
