About the role
MOIA is looking for a Senior Brand Strategist to step into a critical role during a maternity cover and own the strategic brand agenda. You'll work at the heart of the Brand team—a cross-functional group of nine—shaping how MOIA positions itself, defining narratives, and ensuring strategic coherence across everything the company puts into the world.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve brand strategy and positioning—sharpening strategic narrative and ensuring MOIA stands for something clear and compelling in a rapidly changing mobility landscape
- Develop and maintain brand architecture and messaging framework—providing the strategic backbone that guides how MOIA shows up consistently across all channels, markets and audiences
- Embed brand thinking across the organisation—translating strategy into something people can connect with, act on and feel proud of
- Coordinate brand agency relationship—acting as the strategic point of contact, ensuring briefs are strong and outputs are held to the highest standard
- Define and drive the global brand expansion roadmap—mapping out what it takes for MOIA to grow beyond its current market and build brand equity at an international level
- Own and evolve brand measurement strategy—defining how to track brand health and translating data into strategic decisions
- Lead brand strategy workshops and alignment sessions—bringing together leadership, brand, product and comms stakeholders to build shared understanding
- Translate brand strategy into clear creative briefs—ensuring creative teams and agency partners have the strategic grounding they need
What you'll need
- 6–10 years of experience in brand strategy, brand management or a strategic brand consultancy role—with a portfolio of work that shows real strategic impact
- Deep understanding of brand positioning, architecture, narrative development and brand-led growth
- Experience working on or with brands with international or global scope
- Strong ability to develop and articulate long-term brand visions and strategies that influence how an entire organisation thinks about its brand
- Confident and credible in stakeholder and leadership settings—able to present strategic recommendations to C-suite audiences with conviction
- Hands-on experience working with AI tools in a brand or strategy context
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking—able to synthesise complex inputs into clear brand direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; German is a plus but not required
What they offer
- Competitive salary including bonus
- Hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from home or offices
- Flexible working hours and arrangements for parenting, care work or volunteering
- Budget and monthly expense allowance for home office setup
- Remote work possibility from outside Germany for up to 6 weeks per year from over 35 countries
- Public transport ticket
