About the role
As a (Senior) Automotive Cyber Security Test Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and evolving security verification and validation capabilities across the fully autonomous vehicle platform. You'll lead vulnerability management efforts, define testing strategies, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards of cybersecurity and operational integrity.
What you'll do
- Design and implement MOIA's vehicle security testing framework, covering both embedded systems and vehicle-wide architectures.
- Define and execute test plans for security verification and validation across ECUs, communication interfaces, and vehicle networks.
- Lead vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts across hardware and software components.
- Establish processes and tooling for continuous security testing, including fuzzing, penetration testing, and static/dynamic analysis.
- Collaborate with platform, software, and safety teams to integrate security testing into development and release workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security test procedures, threat models, and vulnerability tracking.
- Support compliance efforts with automotive cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155).
- Contribute to incident response planning and post-incident analysis related to vehicle security.
What you'll need
- A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in security testing of embedded systems, automotive platforms, or connected devices.
- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and ECU architectures.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment methodologies and security testing tools.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) for test orchestration and reporting.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and software development lifecycles.
- Ability to work across disciplines and communicate effectively with engineering, safety, and compliance teams.
- Business-level fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience with automotive cybersecurity standards and homologation processes (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155).
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and techniques for automotive systems.
- Familiarity with hardware security concepts (e.g., secure boot, TPM, HSM).
- Background in incident response or post-mortem analysis of security breaches.
