Working Student AI Full Stack Engineer

About the role

As a Working Student in the Full Stack team, you'll contribute directly to the development of AI-powered applications. You'll work alongside senior engineers and get hands-on experience building the interfaces and backend systems that bring machine learning to life.

What you'll do

• Support the development of frontend components and backend services for AI-powered applications
• Contribute to API development (REST/GraphQL) and database work under senior guidance
• Participate in code reviews and team rituals (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Help maintain documentation and improve developer tooling

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Solid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/ReactJS
• First practical experience with web development (internship, own projects, or coursework counts)
• Curiosity about AI/ML applications and how they get deployed in the real world
• Fluency in English; German proficiency is a plus
• Available for 20 hours/week (flexible around your study schedule)

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs or basic SQL
• Any exposure to ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
