About the role
As a Senior Account Manager focused on Manufacturing at Merantix Momentum, your primary responsibility will be to drive the adoption and sales of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within manufacturing companies. You will leverage our expertise in AI research, development, and implementation to offer cutting-edge solutions that optimize manufacturing processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive client business growth.
What you'll do
- Identify and develop relationships with manufacturing and industrial clients who can benefit from AI solutions provided by Merantix Momentum. Leverage your network and industry understanding to initiate strategic conversations with decision-makers and position Merantix Momentum as a trusted partner for AI transformation initiatives.
- Engage with prospective clients to deeply understand their manufacturing challenges, operational bottlenecks, and strategic objectives. Provide consultative guidance on how Merantix Momentum's AI technologies can address these challenges and create measurable business value.
- Build strong and long-term relationships with key stakeholders and establish yourself as a trusted advisor by demonstrating deep industry understanding, strong communication capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments.
- Collaborate closely with the Merantix Momentum technical team, including AI researchers, data scientists, strategists, and engineers, to develop customized AI solutions that meet the unique needs of manufacturing clients.
- Prepare persuasive proposals and commercial offerings that address client requirements and clearly communicate the value of Merantix Momentum's AI solutions and transformation capabilities.
- Support clients throughout ongoing engagements, ensure strong collaboration between clients and delivery teams, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for long-term partnership growth, follow-on initiatives, and strategic account expansion.
What you'll need
- Several years of experience in sales, account management, consulting, or business development, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise technology environments (5+ years).
- Strong network and industry credibility within manufacturing and industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of industrial organizations, operational processes, and transformation challenges faced by manufacturers.
- Experience in consultative and solution-oriented selling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German to effectively articulate the value proposition of Merantix Momentum's AI solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple strategic client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation topics.
