About the role

You'll be the trusted bridge between manufacturing clients and Merantix Momentum's technical team, understanding their operational pain points and designing AI solutions that deliver real value. You'll manage relationships across Mittelstand and enterprise clients, from first conversation through delivery and beyond, building on established reference engagements in the sector.

What you'll do

  • Identify and develop relationships with manufacturing and industrial clients who can benefit from AI solutions, leveraging your network to initiate strategic conversations with decision-makers.
  • Engage with prospective clients to deeply understand their manufacturing challenges, operational bottlenecks, and strategic objectives, providing consultative guidance on how Merantix Momentum's AI technologies address these challenges.
  • Build strong and long-term relationships with key stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor through deep industry understanding and ability to navigate complex enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Merantix Momentum technical team to develop customized AI solutions that meet the unique needs of manufacturing clients.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals and commercial offerings that address client requirements and communicate the value of Merantix Momentum's AI solutions.
  • Support clients throughout ongoing engagements, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for long-term partnership growth and strategic account expansion.

What you'll need

  • Several years of experience in sales, account management, consulting, or business development, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise technology environments (5+ years).
  • Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals in B2B environments ideally with deal cycles of 3+ months.
  • Strong network and industry credibility within manufacturing and industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industrial organizations, operational processes, and transformation challenges faced by manufacturers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German to articulate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation topics.
