About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Account Executive to build and own our TradeAware EUDR business across Central and Eastern Europe. As this is a greenfield territory role, you will be the first dedicated presence in the region, responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business with operators and traders across Germany, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and the wider Central and Eastern European market.

What you'll do

  • Lead the full sales cycle: From discovery to closing — with a strong focus on value-based selling to compliance, ESG, procurement, and sustainability leaders.
  • Educate and consult: Be a trusted advisor on EUDR, helping customers understand the regulatory implications and how TradeAware supports scalable compliance.
  • Manage complex stakeholders: Navigate mid- to enterprise-level buying groups, including C-level decision-makers.
  • Drive pipeline growth: Leverage your network and outbound initiatives to generate new opportunities in the DACH region.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams: Work closely with Solutions Engineers, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a world-class experience.
  • Represent TradeAware at events: Speak at webinars, attend trade expos, and contribute to thought leadership on EUDR and deforestation-free supply chains.

What you'll need

  • 4+ years of B2B SaaS or solution selling experience, ideally with exposure to ESG, compliance, logistics, or supply chain domains.
  • Proven success in closing complex deals with enterprise clients across Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
  • Fluent in German or Spanish and fluent English communication skills — written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling, value based selling and MEDDPICC.
  • Ability to translate complex technical products into compelling business value for senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • A passion for sustainability, supply chains, or regulatory tech.
  • Knowledge of EUDR, ESG reporting standards, deforestation regulations, or traceability frameworks.
  • Experience selling to verticals like food & beverage, retail, timber, agriculture, or commodities trading.
  • Background in remote-first, high-growth SaaS startups.
