About the role
Germany is one of our most important markets, and one of our biggest content opportunities. We're looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager who writes and thinks in German as naturally as they think in strategy: someone who can build a high-quality content engine for the German market, adapt Leapsome's global narrative to resonate locally, and drive our editorial presence with skill and ambition.
What you'll do
- Lead editorial for the German market. Own content planning, briefs, reviews, and publishing for German-language content, ensuring every piece is clear, compelling, and aligned with Leapsome's voice.
- Tell Leapsome's story in German. Create and adapt high-quality content across formats including articles, landing pages, email sequences, social copy, webinar scripts, product messaging — writing for a specific audience with cultural fluency and editorial judgment.
- Build a scalable, data-informed content engine. Help define the strategy, cadence, and structure that allow us to grow content quality alongside volume, from top-of-funnel awareness to deep thought leadership.
- Own SEO and AEO for the German market. Lead initiatives to grow our organic presence in German-speaking markets, combining technical SEO best practices with an understanding of how AI and search are evolving.
- Champion AI for localization. Drive the use of AI tools and workflows to accelerate localization, content production, and experimentation, while keeping quality high.
- Support broader German market initiatives. Collaborate with global demand gen, product marketing, and campaign teams to ensure content feeds into multichannel programs.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in German content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or HRTech, with a track record of driving results across awareness, engagement, and acquisition.
- Native-level fluency or bilingual proficiency in German with excellent editorial instincts and strong command of copy across formats. Strong enough English for confident internal collaboration.
- Fluency in content strategy and SEO, and curiosity about how AI is reshaping content creation and discovery.
- Analytical and creative in equal measure — you make decisions with data, but also trust your editorial instincts and audience understanding.
- Resilient, proactive, and adaptable — you bring energy and optimism, stay curious in the face of ambiguity, and thrive in fast-moving environments.
What they offer
- Hybrid model: work from home or in our Berlin offices, with flexible hours and up to 2 months per year working elsewhere
- 30 vacation days plus public holidays, with option to upgrade to 40 days at adjusted pay; paid sabbatical after 5 years
- Yearly learning and development budget of €2,000 and access to Good Habitz platform
- Free Urban Sports Club membership, Oliva subscription, and access to 1:1 therapy sessions
- One-time work-from-home stipend of €1,000
- Competitive pay and pre-IPO equity package
