About the role
You'll run full-cycle GTM hiring end to end and shape how candidates experience Kombo from first message to signed offer. Most of that hiring is for our NYC office, which you'll build from Berlin, partnering closely with the founding team on the foundational US hires.
What you'll do
- Full-cycle GTM hiring across Berlin and NYC: sourcing, screening, process design, coordination, and closing
- Hiring Manager partnership: calibrate roles, run retros, consult Hiring Managers on recruiting best practices and talent trends, and hold the bar
- Leading with data: track the hiring metrics that matter and use them to improve process, candidate experience, assessment, and conversion
- Employer branding: make Kombo compelling to GTM talent through content, LinkedIn presence, and the parts of hiring people actually remember
- Recruiting ops & tooling: Ashby hygiene, SLAs and reporting Hiring Managers trust
What you'll need
- 2–4 years full-cycle recruiting with GTM/commercial hiring (NYC experience a strong plus)
- End-to-end hiring ownership: you've run the full process yourself and been a true sparring partner for your hiring manager
- Data-driven and solution-oriented: when a role stalls, you don't keep doing the same thing. You step back, look at what's not working, re-calibrate with the HM, and change the approach
- Credible on technical GTM: we build technical products and sell to technical buyers, so you can speak to what our GTM hires actually do, pre-assess technical skill sets, and pitch Kombo well
- Strong sourcing instincts: you find people others miss and write outreach people reply to
Nice to have
- Experience with sourcing stack: Claude-based sourcing, Juicebox, GitHub, Boolean
