About the role

As People & Culture Working Student, you will support the entire employee lifecycle, becoming a trusted go-to person for the Klim team and playing a crucial part in ensuring that both the People Team and company operations run smoothly.

What you'll do

  • Own the day-to-day running of the Berlin office: managing supplies, handling mail, and making sure the space stays a great place to work
  • Help plan and coordinate team events that bring people together: from logistics and organisation to making sure everything runs smoothly on the day
  • Be the first point of contact for people-related questions and help keep HR processes running smoothly and documentation up to date
  • Support the team in running feedback cycles and development initiatives that have a real impact on how people grow at Klim
  • Get behind-the-scenes exposure to recruiting and hiring: coordinating interviews and keeping candidates informed and engaged
  • Help make sure every new team member has a smooth, welcoming start and that departures are handled with care

What you'll need

  • Currently enrolled in a university programme, ideally in Human Resources, Business or a related field for at least another year
  • Available to work ~20 hours per week, with at least 3 days per week in the Berlin office
  • Clear and friendly communicator — people feel comfortable coming to you
  • High energy and positive, hands-on attitude; thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuinely curious about HR, people operations, and how organisations work
  • Proactive and reliable: follow through on tasks, take ownership, and find solutions when stuck
  • Fluent in English and German

What they offer

  • Be part of the journey from the beginning, working on an equal footing with the leadership team
  • Make a daily contribution to combating climate change and supporting climate-conscious farmers
  • High degree of autonomy and creative freedom on your projects
  • Flexible hybrid work model with occasional remote work within the EU
  • Urban Sports Club membership or Deutschlandticket subsidisation, company pension scheme, team lunches and events
