About the role
Own the GTM B2B CRM stack (Salesforce-centric) - the backbone of day-to-day Sales operations. You'll bring engineering rigor to a business-critical system: version-controlled deployments, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and AI-augmented development workflows.
What you'll do
- Own the GTM CRM platform architecture: define and maintain the target architecture, data model, and integration landscape
- Own initiatives end-to-end: from solution design to shipped features in GTM team
- Establish governance: define and maintain architecture principles, standards, and best practices for how we build on GTM CRM platform
- Document blueprints and reference patterns: create reusable documentation (architecture decisions, data flow diagrams, integration patterns) so the platform scales with the business
- Be the main contact point in GTM for Engineering/Tech: ensuring our GTM systems adopt standard engineering practices and tools at full speed and stay architecturally aligned with the R&D org
- Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines: (including sandbox validation, automated testing, and approval gates) applying a strong understanding of CI/CD practices to continuously optimize reliability and delivery speed
- Integrate systems: connect GTM CRM platform with internal tools and external platforms
- Partner with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations) to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable systems/internal products
What you'll need
- 3-5 years backend engineering experience (Java, Python, TypeScript, or similar - Apex is Java-like, you'll pick it up fast)
- Proven Experience in CI/CD and DevOps: you've maintained and improved deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins)
- AI-first mindset: you already use LLMs (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) in your daily work and know how to prompt, iterate, and verify
- Systems thinking: you design for maintainability, document your decisions, and ask "why" before building
- Pragmatic, can-do attitude: You focus less on "perfect" tech choices and more on shipping results and creating impact
- Ownership mindset: comfortable owning a platform end-to-end: architecture, roadmap, data quality, and governance
- Curiosity: excited to learn a new platform
Nice to have
- Salesforce or CRM platform experience
- Experience with workflow platforms (n8n, Zapier, Clay)
- RevOps or GTM team experience
What they offer
- 28 holidays plus 1 additional day p.a., 3 weeks work from anywhere per year, 1-month paid sabbatical every 3 years, flexible work hours
- 7 step career framework, regular performance reviews, 3 days yearly educational leave and 500€ budget
- 10 free nilo.health coaching sessions per year and Urban Sports Club corporate rate
- High-quality equipment including MacBook or ThinkPad, screen for home office, standing desks
- Hybrid offices in Berlin (Kreuzberg) and Cologne with great public transport connections and lunch options
