Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a (Senior) Project Manager within our Land domain with exceptional project management skills to own all aspects of both internal and external project coordination of a prestigious and complex project. Working closely with the delivery teams at the intersection between technical and commercial delivery within Helsing requires strategic oversight, while maintaining tight control over the day-to-day project work.

What you'll do

• Understanding project deliverables and priorities and managing internal and external stakeholder interactions accordingly
• Planning and updating the internal and external project roadmap and ensuring the project team is aligned on the requirements, priorities and deliverables
• Building a project steering dashboard and tracking of project KPIs for briefing of company management
• Communicating project status to customers / partners
• Surfacing challenges / risks and proposing course correction as needed
• Projecting headcount and informing the project-related recruitment needs
• Implementing efficient project governance and means for continuous improvement for the benefit of the entire company
• Contributing to the development of Helsing's project management organisation by leading from the front

What you'll need

• Proven track record (minimum 5 years' experience) as project manager / delivery lead in defence, automotive or aerospace industry or related sectors
• Experience in the management of large-scale projects
• Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification, or equivalent experience
• University degree (or equivalent experience) in any subject relevant to these sectors, including but not limited to political science, mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering
• Willing to travel regularly
• Business fluent in English
• Ability to analyse and present complex issues
• Ready to meet all necessary requirements for a security clearance according to the respective national laws
