About the role
As Senior Programme Manager – Air Defence you will have the opportunity to shape and align Helsing's strategic partnerships and ambitious customer programmes that define the future of Air Defence. You will directly participate in work with industry partners, procurement agencies and Armed Forces, shaping and executing the business strategy, vision, and roadmap for current and future air defence programmes.
What you'll do
- Shape and execute our market strategy, vision, and roadmap for current and future air defence programmes
- Anticipate market trends and client needs to create new business opportunities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for complex defence programmes – from early-stage engagements to highest-quality delivery
- Independently manage and lead programmes in close collaboration with government customers, industry partners and internal stakeholders
- Own strategic campaigns, managing all activities and actions required to deliver in line with Helsing's strategic goals
- Report directly to our Air Defence Domain Leadership
What you'll need
- Proven track record of diverse experience (sales and delivery) across the defence industry, government, or related professional services
- Proven experience working on complex sales and/or bid campaigns within the defence industry
- Deep domain expertise within defence, air defence, military, or the intelligence community
- University degree (or equivalent experience) in Political Science, International Security, Business Administration, Data Science, or Aerospace Engineering
- Ability to take ownership of complex challenges and demonstrate initiative in driving strategic programmes to successful completion

- Prior military experience, particularly in air defence or related operational roles
