Senior Site Controller

As Senior Site Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all things finance at the production site in Verden. You are part of the Controlling and FP&A team responsible for Factor EU, tasked with safeguarding and owning the financial health of companies operating in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, with focus on everything in and around the P&L.

What you'll do

• Own the weekly and monthly financial reporting for F_EU warehousing and production operations
• Own the month end closing cycle for the operations, starting with accruals and finishing with high quality variance analysis
• Work with the Finance team and fulfillment teams at the site to prepare and ensure quality inventory records
• Execute the quarterly and annual business planning for both production sites
• Execute long-term scenario analyses and forecasting as it relates to site operations
• Serve as a reliable finance business partner to F_EU finance leadership, production site leadership, site HR departments and global production leadership, challenging and supporting workforce staffing and compensation decisions
• Continuously improve the processes that stand behind all aspects of F_EU operations financial reporting, budgeting and controlling

What you'll need

• University degree in STEM-related fields, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar operations-finance controlling role
• Highly fluent in financial and management accounting topics and know your way around a P&L
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Great interest in operational processes and their impact on financial outcomes
• Excel at business partnering through strong communication, organization, and a hands-on mentality
• Based out of Verden or with ability to travel regularly via train; if hybrid, regular visits at the site are mandatory (~20%)
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
