Test & Integration Engineer - Embedded Systems

About the role

As a Test & Integration Engineer at Green Fusion, you will build and operate a structured and highly automated testing environment for our Green Boxes. You ensure that our hardware and software solutions work reliably before they reach our customers, and directly contribute to minimizing field failures and insuring delivery quality.

What you'll do

• Build and operate a structured testing environment for the hardware and software of our Green Boxes (GB3 & GB4), including external controllers, wMBus/MBus meters, and additional components
• Execute prototype testing and support field testing activities
• Ensure firmware quality before deployment to devices in the field
• Validate software images within the CI/CD environment prior to release
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve the hardware laboratory (in Berlin Kreuzberg), including inventory management, electrical safety, and occupational safety standards
• Create and maintain product and test documentation

What you'll need

• Degree in Embedded Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with embedded systems, low-level hardware development, or testing
• Hands-on mindset with practical hardware experience
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Interest to independently establish workflows, identify and document issues and continuously improve systems
• Readiness to work from our hardware lab in Berlin Kreuzberg several times a week
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
