About the role
As a Senior DevOps engineer, you'll build the cloud infrastructure and processes supporting our company vision. You'll play a key role in structuring our cloud services, enabling our cross-functional teams and collaborating throughout the company to bring modern DevOps practices into our development and operation processes.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with your team to understand underlying problems and requirements.
- Engineer requirements into viable, pragmatic solutions.
- Contribute to team planning by helping define tasks, priorities, and timelines.
- Build and monitor our infrastructure.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role such as SRE.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and administration.
- Expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Proficiency with modern monitoring practices.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, particularly in cloud infrastructure (e.g., VPCs, security groups, load balancers).
- Ability to automate tasks and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible for automation.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitOps and continuous deployment automation in Kubernetes (ArgoCD).
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and managing secrets (e.g., Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
