As Tech Recruitment Lead for the Data & Product vertical, you'll split your time evenly between personally owning critical searches and leading a team of 4. You'll report to the Senior Technical Recruitment Lead and work alongside the Engineering & Design vertical to keep practices consistent across the wider team.
What you'll do
- Directly lead and coach a team of 4 covering Data and Product hiring
- Partner with Data and Product leadership to define hiring priorities, calibrate the hiring bar, and deliver quality hires
- Set strategic direction for the vertical (prioritization, channel mix, and process) in line with wider Technical Recruiting goals
- Own recruitment metrics and reporting for the vertical (time to hire, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness) and use them to drive decisions
- Get hands-on with sourcing and recruiting for senior, niche, or otherwise critical roles
- Partner with Talent Ops to improve recruiting processes and keep hiring operations scalable as the vertical grows
- Champion a strong, consistent candidate experience across every stage of the process
What you'll need
- 6+ years of technical recruiting experience in fast-moving, high-growth tech environments
- Proven principal-level sourcing/recruiter craft: you have personally closed multiple Staff+, Senior leadership or niche engineering hires
- 1-2+ years of people management experience with evidence of growing and retaining talent
- Data-driven operator: you live in the metrics and use them to influence direction
- Expert at building new channels from scratch and scaling them (open-source, events series, employee referral programmes, CRM systems etc.)
- Confident in partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experienced improving recruiting processes and operations, not just running the ones that already exist
