About the role
Lead GetYourGuide's Growth Channels team, responsible for three scalable partner channels: affiliate networks, travel agents, longtail publishers, and gift cards. You'll own portfolio strategy, channel economics, partner acquisition at volume, and lifecycle activation across all three channels, running on the same operating logic: programmatic or SMB-style partner acquisition, rigorous commission and deal mechanics, and continuous optimization against ROAS and incrementality targets.
What you'll do
- Define channel strategy and economics for affiliate networks, travel agents, and gift cards; allocate budget, commissions, and headcount against profitable growth targets; own partner pipeline prioritization.
- Scale affiliate networks with incrementality discipline—structure deals, run campaigns end-to-end, prove incrementality vs. last-click noise, and tighten governance without slowing growth.
- Build Travel Agents into a growth bet by establishing SMB-style partner acquisition (referral, organic/SEO, SaaS marketplaces, community channels) and lifecycle stack from sign-up to first booking.
- Land and validate Gift Cards as a new channel—stand up BD motion, partner economics, and product/lifecycle stack; test the model and make a clear call on scale or deprioritize within a defined timeframe.
- Incubate next-generation bets by running experiments on new partnership models before enterprise-level investment; define viability, build minimum operating model, and make clear time-bound decisions.
- Build the operating system for a lean team to scale—hire and coach teams across BD, growth marketing, lifecycle, and ops; establish cadences, dashboards, and playbooks; set quality standards.
What you'll need
- 8+ years in growth marketing or partnerships, with at least 3 leading a partner/affiliate, B2B, or B2B2C growth function at a marketplace, two-sided platform, or SMB-led product.
- SMB growth marketing expertise—you've personally built partner acquisition motions including referral programs, SEO/organic plays, SaaS marketplace listings, and community channels.
- Affiliate and deal mechanics knowledge including commission design, tiering, caps, placements, promo strategy, and partner governance.
- Analytical and incrementality fluency with attribution trade-offs, holdout tests, cannibalization checks, and multi-channel attribution.
- Lifecycle thinking—you've shipped or directly overseen activation and retention via product and email including onboarding flows, time-to-first-sale, and retention programs.
- People leadership and operational excellence—you've hired, coached, and run teams of 3–15 across BD, growth marketing, lifecycle, and ops.
- Cross-functional credibility with Product, Finance, and Legal; ability to move fast without burning bridges.
