About the role

The Supply Data Products team is on a mission to empower activity providers to deliver unforgettable and seamless experiences to GetYourGuide's customers at scale. You will lead a team of Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers building the intelligent systems that power the supply side of GetYourGuide's marketplace, shaping the technical vision for AI/ML across the supply domain.

What you'll do

  • Shape the technical vision for AI/ML across GetYourGuide's supply domain and own a roadmap for the systems we build, from problem framing to system design, evaluation, and production standards
  • Lead a team of Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers building the intelligent systems that power the supply side of GetYourGuide's marketplace
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to identify high-leverage opportunities and turn them into production-grade AI/ML solutions
  • Act as a true thought partner to both Product and Business, turning ambiguous asks into bold domain-level bets that ensure GetYourGuide's success
  • Create an environment where talented people are engaged, supported, and growing, with high standards, healthy team dynamics, and strong ownership
  • Bring high-impact AI systems to life in production at pace, balancing speed with sound judgement while keeping the bar high on quality, reliability, and customer trust

What you'll need

  • Proven experience managing high-performing Data Science teams, helping people grow while delivering measurable impact
  • A strong record of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields, including production ML systems in medium-to-large, fast-paced organisations
  • Experience leading the design and delivery of customer-facing AI/LLM systems in production, ideally with experience in evaluations, guardrails, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows
  • Obsessed with understanding customer problems and able to be a true sparring partner to your Product Manager, co-owning problem framing and solution design
  • Proven experience driving initiatives across multiple teams in large organisations and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to translate complex technical work for technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience on the supply (B2B) side of a marketplace, whether that's pricing, demand forecasting, catalog quality, or inventory optimisation

What they offer

  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
  • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
  • Hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration and two days of optional at home focus time
  • Quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events
  • Monthly transportation and fitness budget
  • Health and wellness benefits
